One of our biggest fabrications yet – a 1800 litre storage tank frame commissioned by West Fuel Systems is heading to site in early January 2024. Warren Peters says: “Using past learnings to make certain the tank will secure safely to the frame, laser cut parts also ensured accuracy throughout the whole project.”

Demonstrating its innovative engineering skills, STA worked with Fuel Storage Systems to design and manufacture two sumps. Mounted on the sumps are Pumptronic C Series dispensers and standalone hose reels. Designed specifically to meet the needs of a marina in Gibraltar, Dan Love of Fuel Storage Systems says: “As always STA’s ‘can do’ attitude and attention to detail helped to ensure a speedy and safe installation when our guys got to site.”

STA Technical’s client, Fuel & Forecourt, says of the newly fitted bespoke crash barrier: “As always with STA, when you share a problem, they come up with the solution. The crash barrier fitted like a dream and was even supplied with packers to mitigate the unevenness of the OSF.”

Cut to meet the specific needs of the job in hand, STA’s reinforced GRP and galvanised steel gratings tick all the boxes.
