Client Peace of Mind
The Project
Working with specialist fuels systems company, Foxman Solutions, STA supported their project at the high-traffic Texaco City service station in Birmingham.
The Challenge
With the service station’s vent and offset fill system repeatedly damaged over the last few years, Foxman Solutions was tasked with providing a durable solution to protect this new installation and mitigate any ongoing repair costs. The job also came with an additional challenge – the solution was required to be on-site within seven days from the order being placed.
The Solution
Supplying a new vent and offset fill system for the site, STA also designed and fabricated two heavy-duty, easy-to-install two-metre powder-coated crash barriers to shield the vent and offset fill. A third barrier was also designed and fabricated to protect the forecourt’s newly installed AdBlue tank.
The Result
The new vent and offset fill frame and AdBlue tank are now fully protected with bespoke crash barriers limiting the potential of any future vehicular damage. With all componentry arriving ahead of the requested date, this project highlights STA’s ability to deliver robust, high-quality solutions within tight timeframes.
“This central Birmingham site marks our 15th project with STA Technical. Throughout our partnership, their commitment to getting it right first time has never diminished. For this job, Warren and the team pulled out all the stops to ensure what they were supplying arrived at site ahead of schedule, all ready to integrate seamlessly into the larger project.”
