NO HASSLE

Removing the hassle factor

Working collaboratively with clients, we thrive on getting it right.

Fuel Calibration Trolleys

Initially commissioned by TSG UK Solutions, STA’s fuel trolley is used to undertake pump measurements on the forecourt, it has been designed to accommodate a 20 litre fuel canister.

TSG UK Solutions procurement team says: “We collaborated with STA Technical to create a prototype of a trolley that would assist our engineers on the forecourts.  The prototype was approved by the team at our head office in Dundee and an order was placed for ten trolleys, all of which are already making a difference.”

With its benefits now being appreciated by other clients, over xx trolleys are now supporting those tasked with calibrating fuel measurements.

With a tight design spec, which led to tricky welding configurations, the STA team met our needs in terms of engineering quality, lead times and costs.

Road Cone Holders

Regardless of environment, road cones provide a daily conundrum on where to store them and how to keep them secure.

With STA Technical’s commitment to reducing hassle factor wherever possible, its cone post can be customised in terms of height and colourway to meet a client’s precise requirements.  Mark Higgins of MH Fuel says: “Simple and effective, STA is always looking to make life that bit easier. We’re big fans of the cone holder and have installed over 35 for clients.”

Dave Mayell from Fuel and Forecourt says: “After repeated vehicles running into this forecourt’s brick wall and causing damage, the station owner needed more than a standard barrier to fix the issue. STA’s crash barrier fitted like a dream and was even supplied with packers to mitigate the unevenness of the OSF.

Below Ground OSF Chamber Platform

With commercial and industrial organisations with above ground fuel storage tanks finding they are needing to access the tanks much more regularly, STA’s tank lid access system mitigates the inherent hassle factors involved in such an operation and provides a simple and safe solution for engineers.

Requiring an access hole to be cut in the top of the tank, the engineer then needs to drill holes to enable the frame to be fitted to the tank. Once the internal works have been undertaken, the new cover is then fitted onto the frame to ensure a water tight seal, and both the frame and cover come with Nitrile gaskets to ensure easy subsequent access.

A transformative piece of kit for installers needing to access tanks for cleaning, STA’s system not only speeds up the whole process, but gives us and our customers huge peace of mind.
